  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money and 
  1.3             authorizing bonds for a visitor center and maintenance 
  1.4             shop at Grand Portage State Park. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [GRAND PORTAGE STATE PARK.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $1,800,000 is appropriated 
  1.8   from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of natural 
  1.9   resources for construction of a visitor center and maintenance 
  1.10  shop at Grand Portage State Park. 
  1.11     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.12  this act from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.13  finance shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up 
  1.14  to $1,800,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect 
  1.15  prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, 
  1.16  and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.17     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.18     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
