relating to human services; appropriating money to develop a replicable homeless
youth drop-in program model.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2020 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of human services for a grant to an organization in Anoka County providing services and
programming through a drop-in program to meet the basic needs, including mental health
needs, of homeless youth in the north metropolitan suburbs, to develop a model of its
homeless youth drop-in program that can be shared and replicated in other communities
throughout Minnesota. This is a onetime appropriation.
