relating to appropriations; appropriating money for construction of ring levees.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; RURAL AND FARMSTEAD RING LEVEES.

$650,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $650,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of natural resources for grants to assist in
the construction of flood protection rural and farmstead ring levees in the Red River
watershed. Grants may not exceed 50 percent of the cost of the projects. This is a onetime
appropriation.
