  1.2             relating to crime prevention; appropriating money for 
  1.3             grants related to the investigation and prosecution of 
  1.4             criminal gangs. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $1,191,000 is appropriated for the fiscal year ending June 
  1.8   30, 2002, and $1,290,000 is appropriated for the fiscal year 
  1.9   ending June 30, 2003, from the general fund to the commissioner 
  1.10  of public safety for grants authorized under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.11  section 299A.66, subdivisions 1 and 2.
