  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to corrections; appropriating money to fund 
  1.3             productive day initiative programs in local 
  1.4             correctional facilities in Hennepin, Ramsey, and St. 
  1.5             Louis counties. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; PRODUCTIVE DAY INITIATIVE 
  1.8   PROGRAMS.] 
  1.9      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] The sums indicated in this 
  1.10  section are appropriated from the general fund to the counties 
  1.11  named in subdivisions 2 to 4 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 
  1.12  1997. 
  1.13     Subd. 2.  [HENNEPIN COUNTY.] $900,000 is appropriated from 
  1.14  the general fund to Hennepin county to develop and implement the 
  1.15  productive day initiative program established in Minnesota 
  1.16  Statutes, section 241.275. 
  1.17     Subd. 3.  [RAMSEY COUNTY.] $900,000 is appropriated from 
  1.18  the general fund to Ramsey county to develop and implement the 
  1.19  productive day initiative program established in Minnesota 
  1.20  Statutes, section 241.275. 
  1.21     Subd. 4.  [ST. LOUIS COUNTY.] $900,000 is appropriated from 
  1.22  the general fund to St. Louis county to develop and implement 
  1.23  the productive day initiative program established in Minnesota 
  1.24  Statutes, section 241.275.
