A bill for an act
relating to judiciary finance; appropriating money for a uniform statewide no
contact order form.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $....... for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, is appropriated from the general fund
to the Supreme Court. This money must be used by the state court administrator to develop
and implement the use of a uniform statewide form for domestic abuse no contact orders.
To the degree feasible, the form must require a photograph of the subject of the order and
the most pertinent information on the subject collected under the CriMNet system.
