relating to state government; repealing an appropriation to the Office of the
Secretary of State; requiring reimbursement to the general fund; repealing Laws
2019, First Special Session chapter 10, article 1, section 39.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

REQUIRED.

new text begin To implement the repealer provided in section 2, the secretary of state must reimburse
the general fund for any amounts that were not canceled to the general fund at the end of
fiscal year 2019. The reimbursement must be completed no later than January 1, 2021, and
must be accomplished through reductions in office operations supported by other
appropriations provided in law.
