A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; appropriating money for town roads and bridges.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin TOWN ROADS AND BRIDGES; APPROPRIATIONS.

new text begin (a) $2,600,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $2,600,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of transportation for distribution of financial
assistance for town roads in the manner provided under Minnesota Statutes, section 162.081.
This is a onetime appropriation.

new text begin (b) $1,400,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $1,400,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of transportation for distribution of financial
assistance for town bridges in the manner provided under Minnesota Statutes, section
161.082, subdivision 2a. This is a onetime appropriation.
