1.11We, the undersigned conferees for S.F. No. 1586 report that we have agreed upon
1.12the items in dispute and recommend as follows:
1.13That the Senate concur in the House amendments and that S.F. No. 1586 be further
1.14amended as follows:
1.15Page 2, line 34, before "operator" insert "an"
1.16Page 3, line 12, before "A" insert "(a)"
1.17Page 3, line 16, after "and" insert ", except as provided in paragraph (b) or (c),"
1.18Page 3, line 18, delete "demonstrable" and reinstate the stricken language
1.19Page 3, line 18, after the period, insert:
1.20"(b) If the confinement or restraint results in demonstrable bodily harm, the person
1.21may be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than two years or to payment of a fine of
1.22not more than $4,000, or both.
1.23(c)"
1.24Page 3, line 19, strike "that" and insert "the" and after "payment" insert "of a fine"
