  1.3             levy for independent school district No. 593, 
  1.4             Crookston. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SEVERANCE AND EARLY RETIREMENT LEVY.] 
  1.7      Independent school district No. 593, Crookston, may levy an 
  1.8   amount up to $200,000 each year for a period of five years for 
  1.9   severance and early retirement incentives for licensed employees 
  1.10  who have retired early. 
  1.11     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective for taxes 
  1.12  payable in 2002.
