  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to liquor; authorizing the city of Eden 
  1.3             Prairie to issue additional on-sale licenses. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [EDEN PRAIRIE; LIQUOR LICENSES.] 
  1.6      The city of Eden Prairie may issue six on-sale intoxicating 
  1.7   liquor licenses in addition to the number authorized by law.  
  1.8   All provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A, not 
  1.9   inconsistent with this section apply to the licenses authorized 
  1.10  under this section. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE; LOCAL APPROVAL.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective upon approval by the Eden Prairie 
  1.13  city council and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.14  645.021.
