A bill for an act
relating to state government; appropriating money for an interchange at Interstate
Highway 35 and County State-Aid Highway 19 in Chisago County; authorizing
the sale and issuance of state bonds.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

STATE-AID HIGHWAY 19; CHISAGO COUNTY.

new text begin $1,500,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund
to the commissioner of transportation for a grant to Chisago County for preliminary
engineering, environmental review, final design engineering, and right-of-way acquisition
for the reconstruction of the interchange at the intersection of marked Interstate Highway
35 and County State-Aid Highway 19 in Chisago County and reconstruction of County
State-Aid Highway 19 and associated city streets from the intersection of County State-Aid
Highway 19 and marked Interstate Highway 35 up to and including the intersection of
County State-Aid Highway 30.

new text begin To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond
proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of
the state in an amount up to $1,500,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect
prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota
Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
