A bill for an act
relating to criminal justice; appropriating money for a law enforcement-related
grant to the White Earth Band.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $150,000 is appropriated from the general fund for the fiscal year ending June
30, 2016, to the commissioner of public safety for a grant to the White Earth Band
of Chippewa Indians to be used by the band's law enforcement department for a
back-up server for law enforcement agencies in the counties of Clearwater, Becker, and
Mahnomen, and the band's law enforcement department to store law enforcement data on.
