  1.2                          A bill for an act 
  1.3             relating to health; modifying provisions for lead 
  1.4             poisoning prevention; requiring a real property seller 
  1.5             provide buyer with well water test results; providing 
  1.6             for certain alternative compliance methods for food, 
  1.7             beverage, and lodging establishment inspections; 
  1.8             repealing certain obsolete laws relating to hotel 
  1.9             inspectors, duplication equipment, pay toilets, and 
  1.10            enclosed sports arenas; amending Minnesota Statutes 
  1.11            2000, sections 144.9501, subdivisions 3, 4, 10, 11, 
  1.12            17, 17a, 18, 19, 20a, 20b, 20c, 21, 22, 22a, 23, 28a, 
  1.13            29, and by adding subdivisions; 144.9502, subdivision 
  1.14            8; 144.9503; 144.9504, subdivisions 1, 2, 5, 7, and 8; 
  1.15            144.9505; 144.9507, subdivision 5; 144.9508, 
  1.16            subdivisions 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5; 144.9509, subdivisions 
  1.17            1 and 3; and 157.20, by adding a subdivision; 
  1.18            repealing Minnesota Statutes 2000, sections 144.073; 
  1.19            144.08; 144.1222, subdivision 3; 144.9501, subdivision 
  1.20            32; 144.9502, subdivision 6; 144.9503, subdivision 6; 
  1.21            144.9504, subdivisions 4 and 11; 144.9505, 
  1.22            subdivisions 2 and 5; 144.9506; 144.9508, subdivision 
  1.23            6; and 145.425.

  1.31     We, the undersigned conferees for S.F. No. 1464, report 
  1.32  that we have agreed upon the items in dispute and recommend as 
  1.33  follows: 
  1.34     
  1.35     That the House recede from its amendment and that S.F. No. 
  1.36  1464 be further amended as follows: 
  1.37     Page 32, after line 25, insert: 
  2.1      "Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 145.425, is 
  2.2   amended to read: 
  2.3      145.425 [PAY TOILETS IN PUBLIC PLACES; PROHIBITIONS; 
  2.4   PENALTY.] 
  2.5      Pay toilets and urinals in public places, public 
  2.6   conveyances or public buildings are prohibited unless at least 
  2.7   one-half of the available toilets in the same area or rest room 
  2.8   are free and maintained at the same standards of sanitation and 
  2.9   upkeep.  Violation of this section is a misdemeanor."  
  2.10     Page 33, line 21, delete the first semicolon and insert 
  2.11  "and" and delete the second semicolon 
  2.12     Page 33, line 22, delete "144.1222, subdivision 3; and 
  2.13  145.425" 
  2.14     Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal 
  2.15  references 
  2.16     Amend the title accordingly 
  3.1      We request adoption of this report and repassage of the 
  3.2   bill.
