guidance to school districts regarding certain technology initiatives.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

The commissioner of education must research existing programs in the state and
across the country to determine best practices for schools and districts implementing 1:1
device programs. As a result of the research, the commissioner must develop guidelines to
ensure maximum effectiveness of 1:1 device programs.
