  1.2             relating to crime prevention; appropriating money for 
  1.3             a joint use police storefront and youth activity 
  1.4             center. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $400,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of public safety for the fiscal year ending June 
  1.9   30, 1998, for a grant to the St. Paul district 6 community 
  1.10  planning council to acquire and renovate a building for a joint 
  1.11  use police storefront and youth activity center in the north end 
  1.12  area of St. Paul.
