 relating to teacher licensure; extending licensure expiration dates for 2021.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin PROFESSIONAL EDUCATOR LICENSING AND STANDARDS BOARD.

new text begin Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the Professional Educator Licensing and
Standards Board must extend by six months any calendar year 2021 deadline for completion
of license renewal requirements because of interruptions due to COVID-19 for licenses
under their jurisdiction.
