A bill for an act
relating to human services; directing the commissioner of human services to seek
an amendment to the brain injury waiver; modifying the definition of traumatic
brain injury for the state traumatic brain injury program; amending Minnesota
Statutes 2018, section 256B.093, subdivision 2.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 256B.093, subdivision 2, is amended to read:


Subd. 2.

Eligibility.

Persons eligible for traumatic brain injury administrative case
management and consultation must be eligible medical assistance recipients who have
traumatic or certain acquired brain injurynew text begin , including a brain injury acquired by fetal alcohol
exposure,

include, as eligible persons, individuals with a fetal alcohol spectrum disorder diagnosis
who are not being served under the developmental disability waiver.
