A bill for an act
relating to human services; appropriating money for the Commission Serving
Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing People.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION FOR THE COMMISSION SERVING DEAF AND
HARD-OF-HEARING PEOPLE.

new text begin $60,000 is appropriated from the Department of Commerce telecommunications
access Minnesota fund to the commissioner of human services for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 2007, to supplement the ongoing operational expenses of the Minnesota
Commission Serving Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing People. This appropriation becomes part
of base level funding for the commission for the biennium beginning July 1, 2007.
