  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for 
  1.3             electronic continual learning plans. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [MINNESOTA ASSOCIATION OF ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMS; 
  1.6   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $250,000 in fiscal year 2002 and $250,000 in fiscal year 
  1.8   2003 are appropriated from the general fund to the department of 
  1.9   children, families, and learning for a grant to the Minnesota 
  1.10  association of alternative programs to implement electronic 
  1.11  continual learning plans at area learning centers and 
  1.12  alternative programs.  Any balance in the first year does not 
  1.13  cancel but is available in the second year.
