  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to environment; establishing the 
  1.3             environmental assistance revolving loan account; 
  1.4             appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, 
  1.5             section 115A.0716, by adding subdivisions. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 115A.0716, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 3.  [REVOLVING ACCOUNT.] An environmental assistance 
  1.10  revolving account is established in the state treasury.  All 
  1.11  repayments of loans awarded under this section, including 
  1.12  principal and interest, must be deposited into the account.  
  1.13  Money in the account is annually appropriated to the director 
  1.14  for loans for purposes identified in subdivisions 1 and 2. 
  1.15     Sec. 2.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 115A.0716, is 
  1.16  amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.17     Subd. 4.  [APPROPRIATIONS.] The director may transfer funds 
  1.18  from the environmental assistance grant and loan program into 
  1.19  the revolving account established in subdivision 3.
