  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for 
  1.3             planning a residential facility at Fond du Lac 
  1.4             Community College; authorizing the issuance of state 
  1.5             bonds. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; FOND DU LAC COMMUNITY COLLEGE.] 
  1.8      (a) $500,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to 
  1.9   the higher education board for the predesign through development 
  1.10  of construction documents for a residential facility for 150 
  1.11  students at Fond du Lac Community College. 
  1.12     (b) To provide the money appropriated by this section from 
  1.13  the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance, on request 
  1.14  of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an 
  1.15  amount up to $....... in the manner, on the terms, and with the 
  1.16  effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 
  1.17  16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 
  1.18  4 to 7.
