relating to public safety; appropriating money for services for domestic violence
victims.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; ADVOCATES FOR FAMILY PEACE.

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $100,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of public safety for a grant to the Advocates
for Family Peace organization to provide services for victims of domestic violence. The
amount appropriated in 2017 is added to the base for the Office of Justice Programs in the
Department of Public Safety for grants to provide services for victims of domestic violence.
