  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to cities; limiting license fees on coin and 
  1.3             currency activated amusement machines; proposing 
  1.4             coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 449. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [449.20] [LIMITED LICENSE FEES ON AMUSEMENT 
  1.7   MACHINES.] 
  1.8      A home rule charter or statutory city may impose by 
  1.9   ordinance a license fee on amusement machines of no more than 
  1.10  the demonstrated and verifiable actual cost of issuing the 
  1.11  license or $15 per location plus $15 per machine.
