  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [NATURAL RESOURCES RESEARCH INSTITUTE; 
  1.7   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $950,000 in fiscal year 2000 and $950,000 in fiscal year 
  1.9   2001 is appropriated for transfer from the general fund to the 
  1.10  Minnesota Technology, Inc. fund for grants to the natural 
  1.11  resources research institute.
