  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; repealing the Minnesota 
  1.3             Education Finance Act of 1992; amending Laws 1992, 
  1.4             chapter 499, article 7, section 31, as amended; 
  1.5             repealing Minnesota Statutes 2000, sections 126C.30; 
  1.6             126C.31; 126C.32; 126C.33; 126C.34; 126C.35; and 
  1.7             126C.36.  
  1.8   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.9      Section 1.  Laws 1992, chapter 499, article 7, section 31, 
  1.10  as amended by Laws 1998, chapter 398, article 1, section 39, 
  1.11  Laws 1999, chapter 241, article 1, section 54, and Laws 2000, 
  1.12  chapter 489, article 2, section 28, is amended to read: 
  1.13     Sec. 31.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.14     Minnesota Statutes 1990, sections 124A.02, subdivision 24; 
  1.15  124A.23, subdivisions 2 and 3; 124A.26, subdivisions 2 and 3; 
  1.16  124A.27; 124A.28; and 124A.29, subdivision 2; and Minnesota 
  1.17  Statutes 1991 Supplement, sections 124A.02, subdivisions 16 and 
  1.18  23; 124A.03, subdivisions 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f, 1g, 1h, and 1i; 
  1.19  124A.04; 124A.22, subdivisions 2, 3, 4, 4a, 4b, 8, and 9; 
  1.20  124A.23, subdivisions 1, 4, and 5; 124A.24; 124A.26, subdivision 
  1.21  1; and 124A.29, subdivision 1, are repealed effective June 30, 
  1.22  2004; Laws 1991, chapter 265, article 7, section 35, is repealed.
  1.23     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective July 1, 2001. 
  1.24     Sec. 2.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.25     Minnesota Statutes 2000, sections 126C.30; 126C.31; 
  1.26  126C.32; 126C.33; 126C.34; 126C.35; and 126C.36, are repealed.  
  2.1      [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective July 1, 2001.
