  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing a fund transfer for 
  1.3             independent school district No. 277, Westonka. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1. [FUND TRANSFER; WESTONKA.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 123B.79, 
  1.7   123B.80, and 475.61, subdivision 4, independent school district 
  1.8   No. 277, Westonka, on June 30, 2003, may permanently transfer up 
  1.9   to $170,000 from its debt redemption fund to its general fund 
  1.10  without making a levy reduction. 
  1.11     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.12  following final enactment.
