  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $100,000 is appropriated to the commissioner of public 
  1.8   safety from the general fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 
  1.9   1998, for a grant to Metropolitan State University to develop a 
  1.10  law enforcement library at the university's center for criminal 
  1.11  justice and law enforcement.
