  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to 
  1.3             Minnesota Project Innovation. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $3,400,000 is appropriated from the general fund for 
  1.7   transfer to the Minnesota Technology, Inc. fund for grants to 
  1.8   Minnesota Project Innovation.  $2,000,000 of this amount is to 
  1.9   fund a business information center pilot program in ten cities 
  1.10  in Minnesota including Bemidji, Crookston, Duluth, Mankato, 
  1.11  Marshall, St. Cloud, St. Paul, Virginia, Winona, and one other 
  1.12  Twin Cities location.  The appropriation is available for the 
  1.13  biennium ending June 30, 2001.
