  1.2             relating to human services; proposing changes to 
  1.3             nursing reimbursement; amending Minnesota Statutes 
  1.4             1998, section 256B.431, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 256B.431, is 
  1.7   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 28.  [CHANGES TO NURSING HOME REIMBURSEMENT BEGINNING 
  1.9   JULY 1, 1999.] For the rate year beginning July 1, 1999, a 
  1.10  nursing facility in Chisago county licensed for 101 nursing home 
  1.11  beds on September 30, 1998, is exempt from subdivision 26, 
  1.12  paragraphs (a) and (b).
