A bill for an act
relating to economic development; appropriating funds for youth workforce
development grants.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

$3,500,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $3,500,000 in fiscal year 2015 are appropriated
from the workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic
development to fund the youth workforce development competitive grant program. The
commissioner shall establish criteria for awarding the grants. This appropriation is
available in either year of the biennium and is available until spent.
