A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; permitting the Minneapolis Park and Recreation
Board to recreate Hall's Island in the Mississippi River.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin HALL'S ISLAND PROJECT.

new text begin Notwithstanding any law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, the Minneapolis
Park and Recreation Board is authorized to recreate Hall's Island or such similar island
located at approximately river mile 855 on the Mississippi River, just north of the
Plymouth Avenue bridge, at project site in Sec. 15, T.29 N., R.24 W., Hennepin County,
Minnesota. The Department of Natural Resources shall grant any authorizations, permits,
or permissions necessary to effectuate the project.
