  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the city of Bird Island; authorizing a 
  1.3             temporary exception to sewer extension permit 
  1.4             requirements. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [TEMPORARY EXCEPTION TO PERMIT REQUIREMENTS.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, chapters 115 and 116, 
  1.8   and Minnesota Rules, chapter 7001, including in particular the 
  1.9   permit and deadline requirement of Minnesota Rules, part 
  1.10  7001.0040, the city of Bird Island may provide new sewer 
  1.11  extensions to its wastewater treatment system until the 
  1.12  department of transportation completes its reconstruction of 
  1.13  marked state trunk highway 212 through the city of Bird Island.
