A bill for an act
relating to higher education; providing funding for the Board of Trustees of the
Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, the Board of Regents of the University
of Minnesota, and the Office of Higher Education; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE MINNESOTA STATE COLLEGES
AND UNIVERSITIES; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $80,000,000, in addition to its appropriation in the current biennium, is appropriated
from the general fund to the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and
Universities for the biennium ending June 30, 2015.

Sec. 2. new text begin BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA;
APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $80,000,000, in addition to its appropriation for the current biennium, is appropriated
from the general fund to the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota for the
biennium ending June 30, 2015.

Sec. 3. new text begin OFFICE OF HIGHER EDUCATION; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $80,000,000, in addition to its appropriation for the current biennium, is appropriated
from the general fund to the Office of Higher Education for the purpose of the state grant
