A bill for an act
relating to education; requiring school districts and charter schools to record
expenditures for voluntary prekindergarten pupils; amending Minnesota Statutes
2018, section 124D.151, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 124D.151, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

An eligible school district or charter school must record
expenditures attributable to voluntary prekindergarten pupils according to guidelines prepared
by the commissioner under section 127A.17.
