  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the University of Minnesota; appropriating 
  1.3             money to deliver science curriculum to students in 
  1.4             grades kindergarten through 12. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $500,000 in fiscal year 1998 and $500,000 in fiscal year 
  1.8   1999 is appropriated from the general fund to the board of 
  1.9   regents of the University of Minnesota for the 1998-1999 
  1.10  biennium.  This appropriation is for the Bell Museum of Natural 
  1.11  History to deliver science curriculum to students in grades 
  1.12  kindergarten through 12 through distance learning methods, 
  1.13  including satellite, interactive television, and the Internet.
