A bill for an act
relating to human services; increasing payment rates for a nursing facility in
Golden Valley providing residential rehabilitative services; amending Minnesota
Statutes 2008, section 256B.441, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 256B.441, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin For the rate year beginning
October 1, 2009, a nursing facility in Golden Valley with all its beds licensed to provide
residential rehabilitative services to young adults under Minnesota Rules, parts 9570.2000
to 9570.3400, shall have its operating payment rate per diems increased by $25, after
application of subdivision 55. The increases provided under this subdivision shall be
included in the facility's total payment rate for the purpose of determining future rates
under this section or any other section.
