A bill for an act
relating to state government; prohibiting state agencies from purchasing
American Crystal Sugar products until collective bargaining negotiations resume.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin PROHIBITION ON OBTAINING GOODS FROM AMERICAN
CRYSTAL SUGAR COOPERATIVES.

new text begin The state of Minnesota and its departments and agencies shall not purchase products
from American Crystal Sugar or its subsidiaries until American Crystal Sugar and its
subsidiaries rescind the employee lockout with the purpose of resuming good-faith
negotiations resulting in a collective bargaining agreement.
