  1.3             WomenVenture and the Metropolitan Economic Development 
  1.4             Association. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATIONS.] 
  1.7      $440,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   department of trade and economic development for a grant to 
  1.9   WomenVenture.  $310,000 is appropriated from the general fund to 
  1.10  the department of trade and economic development for a grant to 
  1.11  the Metropolitan Economic Development Association.  These 
  1.12  appropriations are available for the biennium ending June 30, 
  1.13  2005.
