grants.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin REDEVELOPMENT GRANTS; APPROPRIATION.

$8,000,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $8,000,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development
for redevelopment grants under Minnesota Statutes, section 116J.571. Of this amount,
$....... each year is for redevelopment of brownfield sites as defined by the Minnesota
Pollution Control Agency.
