  1.2             relating to taxation; repealing an aggregate tax 
  1.3             exception for Benton and Stearns counties; repealing 
  1.4             Laws 1984, chapter 652, section 2. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.7      Laws 1984, chapter 652, section 2, is repealed. 
  1.8      [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective for Benton 
  1.9   county the day after the governing body of Benton county and its 
  1.10  chief clerical officer timely complete their compliance with 
  1.11  Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivisions 2 and 3.  
  1.12     This section is effective for Stearns county the day after 
  1.13  the governing body of Stearns county and its chief clerical 
  1.14  officer timely complete their compliance with Minnesota 
  1.15  Statutes, section 645.021, subdivisions 2 and 3.
