A bill for an act
 relating to public safety; appropriating money for prosecutor and law enforcement
training and public defender training.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin PROSECUTOR, LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND PUBLIC DEFENDER
TRAINING.

new text begin (a) $25,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $25,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of public safety for the Office of Justice Programs to
award a grant each year to the Minnesota County Attorneys Association for prosecutor and
law enforcement training. These amounts are added to the base.
