  1.2             relating to economic development; removing the 
  1.3             prohibition on use of state money for the board of 
  1.4             invention; appropriating money; repealing Minnesota 
  1.5             Statutes 1996, section 116J.990, subdivision 7. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $200,000 for each fiscal year is appropriated to the board 
  1.9   of invention for the biennium ending June 30, 1999. 
  1.10     Sec. 2.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.11     Minnesota Statutes 1996, section 116J.990, subdivision 7, 
  1.12  is repealed.
