relating to capital investment; providing for an increased point source
implementation grant amount in certain circumstances.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin Notwithstanding the limitations on grants and loans under Minnesota Statutes, section
446A.073, subdivision 1, the Public Facilities Authority shall provide an additional
$15,000,000 in grant funding to an entity that will require advanced tertiary treatment using
membrane biological reactors to remove phosphorus below 0.08 milligrams per liter based
on permit conditions and permitted capacity, that is in a compliance schedule with the
Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and that is listed on the intended use plan and project
priority list.
