  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for a 
  1.3             school administrators recruitment program. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS RECRUITMENT PROGRAM.] 
  1.6      $150,000 in fiscal year 2000 and $150,000 in fiscal year 
  1.7   2001 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner 
  1.8   of children, families, and learning for the Minnesota service 
  1.9   cooperatives to plan and establish a school administrators 
  1.10  recruitment program to identify and develop potential 
  1.11  administrators within Minnesota school districts and collaborate 
  1.12  with post-secondary institutions to deliver administrative 
  1.13  preparation programs in a nontraditional manner to these 
  1.14  potential administrators.
