relating to crime victims; expanding the protection against employer retaliation;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 611A.036, subdivisions 2, 7.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 611A.036, subdivision 2, is amended to
read:
An
employer must allow a victim of a deleted text begin heinousdeleted text end new text begin violentnew text end crime, as well as the victim's spouse or

proceedings related to the victim's case.
