  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to gambling; creating a special account for 
  1.3             money received by the gambling control board as 
  1.4             reimbursement for costs of testing pull-tab dispensing 
  1.5             devices; appropriating money in the account to the 
  1.6             board for that purpose; amending Minnesota Statutes 
  1.7             1994, section 349.163, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.8   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.9      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 349.163, is 
  1.10  amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.11     Subd. 9.  [REVOLVING ACCOUNT.] The board shall deposit in a 
  1.12  separate account in the state treasury all money the board 
  1.13  receives as reimbursement for the costs of services provided by 
  1.14  independent testing laboratories that have entered into 
  1.15  contracts with the state to perform testing and analysis of 
  1.16  pull-tab dispensing devices.  Money in the account is 
  1.17  appropriated to the board to pay the costs of services under 
  1.18  those contracts. 
  1.19     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.20     Section 1 is effective July 1, 1995.
