  1.3             to Minnesota businesses seeking federal contracts; 
  1.4             appropriating money.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA PROJECT INNOVATION.] 
  1.7      $1,500,000 is appropriated from the general fund for the 
  1.8   biennium ending June 30, 2005, to the department of trade and 
  1.9   economic development for a grant to Minnesota Project 
  1.10  Innovation.  The grant is to provide assistance to Minnesota 
  1.11  businesses in obtaining federal contracts.
