  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             a master logger certification program. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [MASTER LOGGER CERTIFICATION; APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $302,000 in fiscal year 2002 is appropriated from the 
  1.7   general fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a 
  1.8   contract with the associated contract loggers of Minnesota to 
  1.9   develop and implement a master logger certification program.  
  1.10  The master logger certification program must be available to all 
  1.11  loggers in the state.  This appropriation must be matched by 
  1.12  $30,000 of cash or in-kind services and is available until June 
  1.13  30, 2003.
