A bill for an act
relating to tax increment financing; modifying the definition of small city;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 469.174, subdivision 27.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 469.174, subdivision 27, is amended to
read:


Subd. 27.

Small city.

"Small city" means any home rule charter or statutory city
that has a population of 5,000 or less and deleted text begin that is located ten miles or more fromdeleted text end new text begin whose
